SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011
Oregon takes USC spot in first place of teams not named Alabama or LSU. Stanford makes a ginormous climb up the rankings, jumping 14 spots from 22nd to 8th. USC gets blitzed, falling from 3rd to 16th. UCLA makes a small leap from 20th to 18th, while Arizona also keeps on moving up; both the Bruins and Wildcats beat up on overwhelmed opponents.
Three more Pac-12 teams seem to be threats to move up with further success Oregon State finished 29th, Arizona State (despite the loss) stays situated at 38th, and Utah goes 48th. Also, apparently no one thought much of Ohio State going toe-to-toe with Cal; the Buckeyes dropped two spots this weekend.
