The Arizona Wildcats finally won away from Tucson. What most pleased Wildcats fans about Arizona's victory over Utah? What do the Wildcats still have to work on?
Kevin Zimmerman, Arizona Desert Swarm: Arizona's improvement on defense was a good sign, especially against a very good running back in John White. Just when it felt like the wheels were coming off on that side of the ball, Jeff Casteel's crew got it back together and made key plays in the fourth quarter -- the Wildcats had three forced turnovers on downs.
Adam Butler, Pacific Takes and Pac Hoops: They made plays when they had to. It wasn't the prettiest game that anyone's ever seen, quite the contrary, but they managed to keep lanes open for Carrey and Star Lotuleilei was rendered inconsequential. Defensively they did what they needed to, keeping Travis Wilson just uncomfortable enough that he couldn't win the game.
Alec Sills-Trausch, ZonaZealots: I think the fact Matt Scott was able to play the entire game was the best thing any Wildcat fan could have asked for. He may not have played great, but him getting reps was ideal, especially with the upcoming game against ASU just a few days away.
What to work on: Defense. Arizona's defense will always be a "work in progress" this season. There are far too many injuries and the players are just not right for the 3-3-5 scheme Rich Rod presents. We'll see if there is any "progress" Friday night against Arizona State.

Jeff Casteel's defense can take much credit for the turnaround. Where Scott struggled in the passing game, going 12-of-27 for just 160 yards, UA's defense held strong throughout. Take Utah's deep drive to the Arizona 4-yard line in the first quarter as proof -- the Wildcats stuffed John White on a 4th-and-1 to take the ball, the swing leading to a 44-yard John Bonano field goal to get the scoring off.
