Pacific Takes, a Pac-12 community

The Oregon Ducks, Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils are the most impressive Pac-12 basketball teams so far, while the Stanford Cardinal and Washington State Cougars struggle.

This weekend's has the Pac-12 basketball recap has the Arizona Wildcats dominating, the Colorado Buffaloes getting upset, and the UCLA Bruins and the California Golden Bears reeling.

Colorado and Oregon landed signature wins for the Pac-12 against Baylor and Vanderbilt respectively, although Washington State and Utah had tough losses against Pepperdine and Sacramento State. Cal beat Denver and Oregon State beat Indiana.

The Pac-12 could be a one bid conference or could have as many as 3. The winner of the Arizona-Colorado game is in, but Cal and Washington still have decent shots at at-large bids

It's been that type of year for Pac-12 basketball. Even with the Oregon Ducks winning, losses by the California Golden Bears, Arizona Wildcats and Washington Huskies mean no one in the Pac-12 can feel safe until Selection Sunday.

Pac-12 basketball could've benefited with a partnership with the Big Ten to boost their NCAA tournament profile.
