Introducing The Pac-12 Football Recruiting Board!

First big post is about... recruiting. Recruiting? Recruiting. (Don't worry, real football coverage starts tomorrrow, but just wanted to debut the project I've worked on for weeks.)

For years, you've probably been wondering, "Who's that fine two-star cornerback from Hygiene, Colorado that we just picked up, and how come he didn't appear in my local newspaper?" Well, Mr. Trapped In Cold War Bunker For Four Decades man, now you have a chance to find all that data all in one place!

Introducing the Pac-12 football recruiting board, your go-to destination for all the latest commits, recruits on the radar of Pac-12 schools, and eventual landing places of all the major recruits that considered the Pac-12. That way we can look back shake our heads at all the misguided parents who had this conversation with their star athlete teenager:

"Hey, mom, dad, I'm looking at playing locally in a big school somewhere in California, but I also have this offer from Notre Dame..."

"Notre Dame!!! SAY NO MORE. Dan Devine. Ricky Watters. Knute Rockne. Tim Brown. RUDY. The tradition, the pagentry, the grinning Tom Hammond, the -20 degree winters in South Bend, the drunk Catholics. This is where we want you to play!"

Anyway, the board is here for you to view in a Google Doc.

Oh, and for those who hate spreadsheets, here are individual tables by position (links to all tables can be viewed here).

Quarterbacks | Running backs | Wide receivers | Offensive guards & centers | Offensive tackles | Tight ends | Defensive tackles | Defensive ends | Inside linebackers | Outside linebackers | Cornerbacks | Safeties | Athletes | Punters and kickers

I'm sure I'm missing about a hundred guys. Also, these tables will only be updated once every three years, whereas the spreadsheet will be updated constantly.   I'll try to update this as best as I can, which means it'll always be three weeks behind your recruiting scourges. Happy meat market to you!

Feel free to admonish and add any new developments in the comments.
