Pac-12 Recruiting Update: Arik Armstead, Josh Garnett, Shaq Thompson, D.J. Foster Featured

Josh Garnett (OL, Puyallup) committed to Stanford over Michigan. Garnett joins a loaded Stanford offensive line class.

Arik Armstead (DT, Pleasant Grove) is ready to decide after a flurry of in-homes; no more visits from coaches or trips down to LA are occurring before Armstead makes a decision. Schools in the mix appear to be Cal, Oregon, Washington, Auburn, USC and UCLA.

Shaq Thompson (ATH, Grant) is ... well, unknown. Don't expect much news on the Cal commit's front until NSD. Cal, Oregon, Washington and UCLA appear to be the final four according to Shaq's buddy Armstead.

D.J. Foster (ATH, Saguaro) will announce his decision at 10:45 AM at his high school, with ASU, Cal, USC the choices.

Cleveland Wallace (CB, Oak Grove) sticks with his Oregon State commitment after a late charge from Washington to get in their final two.

Deaysean Rippy (LB, Sto Rox) has a final three of Arizona, West Virginia, and Pitt. More in-depth article here ($). Rippy likes the Wildcats because they're young and upcoming.

Luke Kaumatule (DE, Punahou) has been cleared by Stanford admissions and will almost certainly be a Cardinal.

Keoni Bush-Loo (TE, Kamehameha) committed to Arizona.

Moana Ofahengaue (DE, Westlake) has a final two of Utah and Arizona, and will make a decision on NSD. Utah is the supposed leader ($).

J.J. Dielman (OG, Desert Vista) will stick to Utah despite an offer from a fellow Pac-12 school.

Jontrey Tillman (ATH, West St Mary) has interest from Colorado and an offer from Washington State after not making Stanford admissions.

Raymond Ford (CB, Serra) apparently has a final three of Cal, Utah and Washington State.

Dalis Bruce (DB, St. John Bosco) will decide today whether he wants to be a preferred walk-on for Cal or UCLA. It might not seem like much, but it could have an impact on two crucial Cal recruits.

Jason Thompson (ATH, Kennedy) decommitted from Washington and committed to Wyoming. UW wanted him as a safety, Wyoming would want him at quarterback, his preferred position.

Reggie Barnes (OLB, Berkeley Prep) visited ASU last weekend and is at Air Force this weekend.

Looking ahead

Eddie Vanderdoes (2013 DE, Placer) states that Washington and Tosh Lupoi have him as their number one target in next year's class.

Max Redfeld (2013 S, Mission Viejo) has been getting a lot of interest from Cal and Nebraska after picking up Colorado/Notre Dame offers.

Troy Williams (2013 QB, Narbonne) received an Arizona State offer.
