Five games to choose from this week in the Pac-12 slate regarding college football odds. Do you like big lines? This is your week!
USC favored by 16 points over Cal: This doesn't look good for the Bears. Perhaps if they'd won last week they'd be brimming with confidence, but now they go into the Coliseum looking at 1-3 ... with an angry Trojan team that just got kicked around by Stanford. And USC owns Cal. The Trojans have to be confident in a bounce back performance.
Arizona State favored by 7 points over Utah: People really like the Sun Devils at home with that Todd Graham offense, which is strange because Missouri's defense just shut them down, and Utah's defense is probably a little better than Missouri's.
Washington State favored by 19 points over Colorado: When was the last time you saw the Cougars favored by this many points against anyone? It's even more surprising considering the Cougars had trouble beating Eastern Washington at home two weeks ago and barely sailed past UNLV last week.
On the other hand, Colorado is bad at this football thing right now. So maybe this isn't too far-fetched.
UCLA favored by 8 to 8.5 points over Oregon State: The Beaver upset is starting to lose a bit of its luster after the struggles of Wisconsin against Utah State, and despite two bye weeks they find themselves heavy dogs in UCLA's house. The Bruins have looked better with each passing week. .
Oregon favored by 23.5 to 24 points over Arizona. Wow. So much for an offensive shootout. The Wildcats apparently are being given no chance to be competitive in Eugene, which is strange because they've generally looked good all year.
Then again, it is Oregon.
