The first Pac-12 post-Christmas bowl takes place on Friday night in San Francisco. The Washington Huskies and the BYU Cougars figure to battle in what could be one of the pre-BCS postseason highlight matchups. Both teams have had strong seasons and will finish their years up in a baseball park.
How will the Huskies react without Steve Sarkisian on the sidelines? Washington will put intern head coach Marques Tuiasosopo in charge for one game and see if he can change things up for his team. Can they keep the momentum going and finish with nine wins on the year? BYU has had a strong year, marked by wins over Boise State, Georgia Tech and Texas. They will not make things easy for Washington in what seems like an even match on paper.
The Fight Hunger Bowl is in its last year at AT&T Park, home to the San Francisco Giants. It'll be moving to the new home of the San Francisco 49ers next year in Santa Clara.
