The Arizona State Sun Devils made huge strides in year two of the Todd Graham era. Arizona State went 8-1 in the Pac-12 in the regular season. They whipped USC and Arizona at home and managed to get a huge win against UCLA on the road to clinch the Pac-12 South.
Unfortunately, ASU's only two Pac-12 losses came to the Stanford Cardinal, with the second loss coming in the Pac-12 Championship Game at home. Arizona State thus has to settle for one of the best bowl destinations of the offseason, the Holiday Bowl in San Diego!
Arizona State draws Texas Tech. The Red Raiders roared out to a 7-0 start under Kliff Kingsbury, but then lost their final five games and haven't won a game since October. Texas Tech runs a pure pass-heavy offense and will provide a lot of trouble if they can get the quick passing game going. It could be a fun late night contest!
