Pac-12 Football Schedule: 2013 Worst Non-Conference Games

The Pac-12 will have it fair share of dud football games against cupcake opponents.

Steve Dykes

37. Nicholls State at Oregon 8/31

An FCS team in Autzen against a Duck team that will be dying to prove that they won't skip a beat under Helfrich, don't be surprised if the Ducks eclipse the 80-point mark.

36. Idaho State at Washington 9/21

A bad FCS program at Husky Stadium shouldn't be much fun to watch.

35. Sacramento State at Arizona State 9/7

Shouldn't be much, but Sacramento State was able to beat Colorado last season.

34. Southern Utah at Washington State 9/14

This shouldn't be much of a game, but the Cougars have struggled with even FCS teams in recent seasons.

33. Portland State at Cal 9/7

Portland State has pretty much been thrashed by any FBS team they have ever played but this is Cal's breather game in between Northwestern and Ohio State so you never know.

32. Northern Arizona at Arizona 8/31

Another FBS/FCS snoozer, but again, at least it is in-state.

31. Eastern Washington at Oregon State 8/31

This shouldn't be much, but keep in mind that Eastern Washington was a play away from beating Washington 2011 and Washington State in 2012.

30. Central Arkansas at Colorado 9/7

This is FBS vs. FCS, but remember, Colorado lost at home to FCS Sacramento State last season.

29. Weber State at Utah 9/7

A dreaded FBS vs. FCS game but at least this one is an in-state matchup.

28. UTSA at Arizona 9/14

The worst FBS vs. FBS game on the Pac-12 schedule this year and UTSA is only in their second season as FBS.

27. New Mexico State at UCLA 9/21

Not much to get excited about here, it's late in the non-conference slate and New Mexico State is a bad FBS program.

26. Stanford at Army 9/14

The Cardinal are a much better team than Army, but Stanford usually doesn't really blow teams out and it's on the road, so this one might be a little more interesting than expected.

25. Idaho at Washington State 9/21

With these schools only being just a few miles away, this is actually a renewed rivalry game. Might be interesting too as the Cougars have barely been able to beat any team in years.
