Star of the Week - Travis Wilson QB Utah
Wilson exploded against Weber State and was a huge part of why the Utes put up 70 points in the game. Wilson totaled 46 points and did it by racking up passing and rushing yards along with touchdowns.
Surprise of the Week - Travis Wilson QB Utah
I think most people expected the Utes to roll Weber State and for Wilson to put up good numbers, but not far and away the best of anyone in the conference. Wilson lit up Weber State in his first real huge game as a college football player.
Disappointment of the Week - Marqise Lee WR USC
The pre-season Pac-12 leader in the Heisman race had a tough game against Washington State as USC quarterbacks Cody Kessler and Max Wittek simply struggled to get him the ball downfield. Lee was hampered by a conservative game plan along with being limited to primarily catching screen passes.
Start Him This Week - Connor Halliday QB Washington State
Halliday struggled with interceptions on the road against Auburn and USC, but gets to finally have a comfortable game at home against Southern Utah and I expect him to make the most of it. Expect Halliday to fill up the stat sheet and limit his interceptions this week.
Sit Him Next Week - Brendan Bigelow RB Cal
Bigelow had a breakout game against Ohio State last year in Columbus, but he has gotten off to a slow start in 2013, and I don't think the Buckeyes' strong run defense will be who he breaks out against, especially since they are very familiar with him after last season.
Injury Watch - Silas Redd RB USC
Redd was expected at one point to make his debut against Washington State last week, but sat out, and even though once again, he expected to start seeing the field soon, it's unclear if he will see action against Boston College Saturday.
