The BCS Championship Game is months away, but that doesn't mean that people aren't already out there laying bets on who they think is going to win the whole thing in college football this year.
Bovada just released some odds regarding who has the best odds to win the national championship this year, and here is where some Pac-12 teams stand.
Oregon 4/1
The Ducks trail only Alabama in their odds and many are starting to think that this is finally the year that the Ducks win the national championship that always just alluded them under Chip Kelly. They have a week off this week before beginning their Pac-12 slate.
Stanford 14/1
The Cardinal are a tough bet with just how close they seem to let all of their opponents play them, but they still rarely lose games and have a veteran squad. The Cardinal's odds should get better if they can beat Arizona State Saturday in their first tough game of the season.
UCLA 28/1
The Bruins made a major statement for their odds with their win at Nebraska, but betters should still probably be wary of just how much that means with Nebraska's strength a major question. The Bruins will likely hover around this area until they face off with the elite teams in the Pac-12.
Arizona State 66/1
The Sun Devils got themselves onto the national radar for a couple of reasons with their win over Wisconsin and now will have to immediately pull off a huge upset at Stanford Saturday if they want to stay in the conversation.
Washington 66/1
The Huskies have looked impressive with convincing opening wins against Boise State and Illinois, but are probably on hold until they play Stanford in October when they will have the chance to show that they can truly compete with elite teams.
Arizona 300/1
The Wildcats have a potentially scary up-tempo offense and are 3-0, but most people still aren't convinced that they can compete on a national level.
USC 500/1
Uh, yeah. I guess. The Trojans could still get themselves into the BCS Championship Game with the chance to win the title if they run the table from here on out. That could happen...
