Fantasy Star of the Week - Connor Halliday QB Washington State
Halliday lit up the porous Idaho defense for 31 fantasy points as he got to toss the ball around against a weak opponent for the second week in a row and fill up the stat book.
Disappointment of the Week - Bishop Sankey RB Washington
Okay, 13 points isn't that disappointing, but this is more about how disappointing the amount of points Sankey probably left on the table is as he got those points of just four carries. Steve Sarkisian pulled him as soon as possible, or he could have had a historic day against Idaho State.
Surprise of the Week - Jaelen Strong WR Arizona State
Strong blew up in the second half of Arizona State's loss to Stanford and scored more than half of all the points that he had scored going into the season, finishing with 22.
Start him this week - Byron Marshall RB Oregon
The Bears haven't been able to stop anyone on the ground and that's a recipe for disaster when facing the Ducks who are sure to hand it off again-and-again. Obviously it should be a big day for De'Anthony Thomas, but expect a breakout game from Marshall who will likely get more carries than Thomas, and do a lot with them against a weak Bears run defense.
Sit him this week - Jared Goff QB Cal
Goff is only 1-2 as a starter, but has still managed to put up good fantasy points. However, I think this might be the week that the true freshman can't maintain. Going on the road at one of America's most-hostile environments against the Pac-12 best pass defense and a defensive coordinator that loves to blitz - it could get ugly quickly.
Injury watch - Silas Redd RB USC
Redd has been a near game time decision for the Trojans going into each game this season, but I think this is the game where they finally play him. It's their first Pac-12 showdown and with Tre Madden finally not running for 100 yards against Utah State, the Trojans will likely need to insert an experienced back like Redd.
