Pac-12 focused Top 25 week seven: No Pac-12 teams in the Top 10

Arizona and Oregon remain in the Top 15 and Arizona State, Stanford and USC creep into the Top 25.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

1. Florida State 6-0

2. Baylor 6-0

3. Mississippi 6-0

4. Mississippi State 6-0

5. Notre Dame 6-0

6. TCU 4-1

7. Georgia 5-1

8. Auburn 5-1

9. Oklahoma 5-1

10. Alabama 5-1

11. Oklahoma State 5-1

12. Arizona 5-1

I knew it would be a brief stay in the Top 10 for Arizona, but they are still very much alive to win a crazy Pac-12 South. They still get the top spot in the Pac-12 for me since they beat Oregon on the road and still only have one loss. I don't know how long their time in the Top 15 will last either though.

13. Oregon 5-1

The Ducks made a major statement by dominating UCLA in the Rose Bowl and showed that they aren't going away nationally just yet. They have a chance to get another good win next week if they can beat a strong Washington defense in Eugene.

14. Michigan State 5-1

15. Kansas State 4-1

16. Ohio State 4-1

17. Kentucky 5-1

18. Clemson 4-2

19. Marshall 6-0

20. East Carolina 5-1

21. LSU 5-2

22. Texas A&M 5-2

23. Arizona State 4-1

The Sun Devils got thrashed at home against UCLA, but got a good win at USC. It is hard to rank teams from the Pac-12 South right now, but their record and win over USC gets them here.

24. USC 4-2

The Trojans are a hard team to grasp, but don't count them out just yet. They would be undefeated in the Pac-12 with wins over Arizona, Arizona State and Stanford (two of those coming on the road) had they been able to knock down a Hail Mary.

25. Stanford 4-2

Another team not to sleep on just yet. The Cardinal's rare ability to play defense in the Pac-12 sets them apart and they lost their two games by a combined six points against Top 25 teams.
