1. Florida State 4-0
I usually only explain my Pac-12 picks, but I feel this one needs a little defending. Basically, Florida State are the defending champions and are loaded with more experienced talent than anyone in the country and a defending Heisman winner, they are going to be my number one until they lose.
2. Auburn 4-0
3. Oklahoma 4-0
4. Alabama 4-0
5. Oregon 4-0
The Ducks had a much-needed week off and hopefully can get tackle Jake Fisher healthy soon to give their offensive line some stability. The Ducks really need to blast Arizona on Thursday to reassert their dominance in the Pac-12 as their previous three conference games are a blowout at the hands of the Wildcats and skin-of-their-teeth wins against Oregon State and Washington State.
6. Baylor 4-0
7. Texas A&M 5-0
8. UCLA 4-0
I am rocketing the Bruins back up to where I had them going into the season after their destruction of Arizona State. All of college football looks pretty flawed this year, so you can no longer knock them for tough games against better-than-expected Virginia and Memphis teams.
9. Notre Dame 4-0
10. Mississippi 4-0
11. Georgia 3-1
12. Mississippi State 4-0
13. LSU 4-1
14. Oklahoma State 3-1
15. USC 3-1
The Trojans got a big bounce back win over Oregon State and proved as much as they could that the Boston College loss was a fluke. Now Steve Sarkisian and the Trojans need to prove that they can bring it week after week.
16. Stanford 3-1
Stanford got a good win at Washington to avoid starting 0-2 in Pac-12 play but things don't get any easier from here as they head to South Bend next week. It will be truly impressive if the Cardinal can get through their schedule and still win more than 10 games.
17. TCU 3-0
18. Michigan State 3-1
19. Wisconsin 3-1
20. Clemson 2-2
21. BYU 4-0
22. Kansas State 3-1
23. Nebraska 5-0
24. Missouri 4-1
25. East Carolina 3-1
