North
1. Oregon (#3 last week) - And the Ducks are back on top in the North. They may not win finish atop the official standings, but fans believe that they are the best team in the division right now.
2. Washington State (#2 last week) - The Cougars have a gripe about getting passed up by the Ducks who they beat, but they also lost to Stanford and I think most fans think they wouldn't beat Oregon now.
3. Stanford (#1 last week) - The North was right there for the Cardinal and they (literally) fumbled it away. Pac-12 fans took note.
4. Cal (#4 last week) - The Bears got the win they needed to get bowl eligible and ensure that they wouldn't drop to the bottom of the North Saturday by bashing Oregon State. Now they try to derail Stanford's Pac-12 title hopes.
5. Washington (#5 last week) - The Huskies are in danger of ending the season with a long losing streak after getting pummeled by Arizona State in the second half. They need to beat Oregon State Saturday to risk falling to the bottom of the North.
6. Oregon State (#6 last week) - The Beavers probably have their last chance to grab a Pac-12 win this weekend when Washington comes to town.
South
1. USC (#3 last week) - The other preseason division favorite has returned to the top. Now the Trojans have to go up and get a win over a red-hot Oregon team in Eugene. Good luck.
2. Utah (#1 last week) - The Utes showed their weaknesses against Arizona and took their second loss of the season. I feel like Pac-12 fans finally got the chance they were waiting for to knock them down in the South.
3. UCLA (#2 last week) - The Bruins could tumble all the way down to number five if they can't win at least one of their very tough remaining road games.
4. Arizona (#5 last week) - Arizona's win over Utah trumped Arizona State's win over Washington. They will duke it out this week in Tempe head-to-head.
5. Arizona State (#4 last week) - The Sun Devils picked themselves off the floor with a big second half run against Washington. They can still move back up in the South.
6. Colorado (#6 last week) - Sorry Colorado, it is just really hard to get out of this spot in the South.
