Pac-12 TV Guide week 10: Utah tries to avoid upset at Washington

Avinash Kunnath & Jack Follman rank this week's Pac-12 games.

Jennifer Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

1. Utah at Washington - 4:30 PM FOX

AK: Utah has a tough test ahead. The Utes don't score a lot and Washington's defense is for real. Utah wins this one and it probably comes down to the UCLA game for the South.

JF: Holy hell, this suddenly looks like a great game. The Husky defense can put the clamps on Utah's limited offense in Husky Stadium and it will be up to their questionable offense that just awoke to score 49 on Arizona to make it a game. I see this as one of those low-scoring, but well-played games that goes down to the wire.

2. Arizona State at Washington State - 12:30 PM FOX Sports 1

AK: The Cougs are proving they can punch back now and ASU will have the defense to test their offense. This is a highly even matchup between two teams jostling for a top bowl game.

JF: The Cougars proved they can beat anyone in the Pac-12, especially at home last week and now get a nice match-up with the Sun Devils heading up to Pullman. There is a lot at play here, with both teams really needing this win for bowl eligibility and slotting.

3. Cal at Oregon - 7:30 PM ESPN2

AK: Highly entertaining game featuring two great offenses. Expect the points to flow freely in Autzen.

JF: An elimination game for longshot North champion contenders and a very fun matchup between Jared Goff and Vernon Adams. I expect both offenses to move the ball up and down the field and it might come down to who gets the ball last.

4. UCLA at Oregon State - 1:30 PM Pac-12 Networks

AK: The Bruins have to beware of a trap; the Beavers want that first home win and getting a freshman quarterback on the road might be their best show, especially with that fierce defense of theirs.

JF: The Bruins looked very vulnerable last week, the Beavers looked better and are going to beat someone they shouldn't before the Pac-12 season is over in my opinion. Could this be that game?

5. Arizona at USC - 7:30 PM ESPN

AK: Poor Wildcats. This defense is the worst in the conference and is giving up an average of 50 points or so against good teams. USC would love to keep rolling at home.

JF: This looked like a good game going into the season, doesn't anymore. However, keep in mind, Pac-12 teams have always seemed to respond when they cornered and Arizona is more than cornered right now.

6. Stanford at Colorado - 10 AM  Pac-12 Networks

AK: The Cardinal had their last road scare of the year. Beating up on poor Colorado after they missed a great shot at an upset will be a fine way to prepare themselves for the critical home stretch.

JF: This is a trap game. The Buffs are playing well and the Cardinal are coming off a tough, to-the-wire game at Washington State and have a face off with Oregon the week after. Wait... the game is at 10 AM? What the f***?
