Pacific Takes picks the best Pac-12 football team of all-time: bracket revealed

Pacific Takes writers are going to pick the Pac-12's best football team of all-time, March Madness style, and here is the bracket.

USA TODAY Sports

With March Madness officially here, we thought it would be interesting to put together a full on bracket of the Pac-12's best football teams and then have Pac-12 writers decide which one is the best tournament style. Each week of the NCAA Tournament, we will be revealing how our writers voted.

Here are the Pacific Takes writers who will be voting - Brent Armstrong, Jack Follman, Avinash Kunnath, Ryan McGinn, Mark Schipper, Dennis Smythe, Bill Stenlund, Trace Travers, Jamie Uyeyama

Here are some notes about the bracket...

- All teams that have won an official national championship are included, even if it was in the 20s. Think of this as kind of how the NCAA puts winners from the SWAC, America East and Patriot League get in.

- Teams that won a national championship get seeded above those that did not unless it is a team from pre-World War II.

- Teams are seeded into brackets named after legendary coaches from the number one seed's program.

On a side note, the brackets reveals a very accurate portrayal of the history of power in the conference, check out the number of teams that each program has in the bracket:
