ASU lands 4-star transfer Torian Graham

Graham has familiarity with Bobby Hurley.

Bobby Hurley continues to bring players that had ties to him at Buffalo to his new job at Arizona State. This time, former Buffalo transfer Torian Graham will be heading to Tempe.

Graham has taken an interesting path to this point. A five-star player in high school, he committed to NC State (twice), but never ended up playing there, going to Junior College for two years instead. After his two years in JuCo, Grant committed to Houston, but never ended up playing for the Cougars, leaving the school last November for "personal reasons" before joining Hurley and assistant coach Levi Watkins (who recruited Graham to NC State and now coaches at ASU) in Buffalo.

Graham never took the floor for the Bulls either, due to NCAA transfer rules, but Hurley had a lot of positive things to say about him this past February.

Graham will have to sit out another season, but when he eventually plays, Arizona State is getting a guy who, at one point, was a top-50 player in high school. If he can channel some of that at this level, he will be a great pickup for the Sun Devils.
