In a week during which one Pac-12 team lost their only commit in the class of 2016, Oregon State gained their first player in the class.
Ben Kone, a three-star power forward from San Jose, California, tweeted on Tuesday night that he would be Oregon State bound next year.

Kone, who also had an offer from Cal, was very impressed with his time in Corvallis when he visited in June.
Kone was named boys basketball player of the year by the San Jose Mercury News this past season. It's easy to see why, as Kone averaged 20.2 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in his junior season.
Below is a video of Kone going toe to toe with Oscar Frayer, a 2016 Cal commit.
