September was an incredibly busy month for Pac-12 basketball recruiting, so it is only fitting that the last day of the month saw one final commitment.
2016 four-star guard Jonah Mathews, from Santa Monica, California, committed to USC Wednesday night.
Scout's Evan Daniels broke the news.

Mathews visited USC earlier this month, and also took visits to Gonzaga and San Diego State.
When asked why he chose the Trojans, Mathews told Daniels the following,
"I wanted to stay home, USC is in the Pac-12, they play a great schedule all year plus they can do a lot for me after basketball."
Mathews is a big addition to an already solid USC class of De'Anthony Melton (Mathews' AAU teammate) and Harrison Henderson.
A short highlight video of Mathews from the EYBL this past summer can be found below.
