Game of the Week - Washington State at Colorado 12:30pm FOX
Jack’s Take: These two teams are balanced, evenly-matched, fighting for a Playoff miracle chance and division titles in what should be the biggest game in Boulder since the guys playing in this one were just starting elementary school. Each team features a veteran quarterback with lot of weapons at his disposal and a great defense backing them up. This should be fun.
2. USC at UCLA 7:30pm ESPN
Jack’s Take: Another week where only one game really matters, but that doesn’t mean Pac-12 fans don’t have a lot of storylines to follow in games that might not be as good or as important. This could be Jim Mora’s last stand in LA and the Trojans need to get a win to give themselves hope to get some help and win the South. Will the Trojans have a hangover after an epic performance in Seattle?
3. Stanford at Cal 2:30pm Pac-12 Networks
Jack’s Take: I was going to put this second until I realized it overlaps with Washington State/Colorado. The Cardinal are surging and the Bears are falling apart, but that doesn’t mean this still isn’t the most-vulnerable Stanford team Cal has faced in a long time.
4. Arizona State at Washington 4:30pm FOX
Jack’s Take: This should be one of those games where a good team clocks a disaster in five minutes to move on from a painful loss, but this is college football, and as last week showed, things are never predictable. The Huskies lost another stud linebacker and their defensive leader last week and I don’t think they have beaten Arizona State in Seattle since Brock Huard was their quarterback.
5. Arizona at Oregon State 7:30pm Pac-12 Networks
Jack’s Take: The Desperation Bowl.Oregon State is going for their second Pac-12 win of the season. Arizona is going for their first. This is likely a battle to prove who is the second-worst team in the Pac-12 this year.
6. Oregon at Utah 11am Pac-12 Networks
Jack’s Take: The Utes were the first team to expose the chink in Oregon’s armor last year so maybe this is the team the Ducks turn it all around against. Well...probably not. Also, this game starts at 11 and overlaps with Washington State/Colorado. S***.
