Fiesta Bowl - Washington vs. Clemson
Okay, I am finally predicting the Huskies to make the Playoff. They should be able to win every game left on their schedule (though that is incredibly difficult) based on where we stand today. They are a complete team in a year where most of the Pac-12 isn’t and seems to have that confidence of destiny where they believe they should win every game.
Also, it’s not entirely impossible there is a scenario where the Huskies get in with one loss depending on how Michigan and Ohio State finish along with the top ACC and SEC teams.
Rose Bowl - Michigan vs. Utah
The Utes are the next most-complete Pac-12 team and I wouldn’t be shocked if they run the table from here and then get Washington again in the Pac-12 Championship Game. They will make their first Rose Bowl as a three-loss team and get Jim Harbaugh and his gang.
Alamo Bowl - Washington State vs. Oklahoma State
I am so tempted to say the Cougars win the Apple Cup at home, but just can’t quite pull the trigger. This will be a nice consolation prize if they can’t make the Pac-12 Championship Game, and I would also watch for them and the Rose Bowl if they finish the season 3-1.
Holiday Bowl - Colorado vs. Minnesota
The Buffs finish with two nasty games at home against Washington State and Utah, and I could easily see those games going any way possible as in Colorado could go 2-0, 1-1 or 0-2. I don’t really know. For now, I will put them behind Utah and Washington State, but in their best bowl in 15 plus years.
Foster Farms Bowl - Stanford vs. Northwestern
The rest of the schedule sets up nicely for Stanford. They could easily be a nine-win team on a five-game winning streak and a nice candidate for their local bowl.
Sun Bowl - USC vs. Virginia Tech
The Trojans were a disaster the last time they were in El Paso, but things should be a little bit nicer this time after a tough, but non-disaster season in what should actually be a nice match-up.
Las Vegas Bowl - Arizona State vs. Boise State
I guess the Sun Devils win one more game and make the last bowl slot for the Pac-12. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cal, Oregon and/or UCLA find ways to make bowl games, but too hard to bet on that right now.
