As Arizona State prepares to face Creighton in Tempe on Tuesday night, the Sun Devils got a bit of good news as 2017 three-star forward Kenny Wooten committed to the university.

Wooten is ASU’s third commit in the class of 2017, joining Remy Martin and Kimani Lawrence.
Wooten had offers from Illinois, USC, Utah, and Washington State, among others. At 6’9, Wooten will help soften the blow of losing 6’8 Obinna Oleka, who will be graduating at the end of the year.
Below is a highlight video of Wooten from over the summer. It’s impressive how well he uses his body and how comfortable he is in his frame. You don’t always see that in high school basketball players, especially the taller ones. Wooten will be a great fit at ASU and in the Pac-12 in general.
