Earlier this month, Dallas Walton, a seven-foot-tall senior from Arvada, Colorado, pledged his commitment to the in-state Buffaloes.
For Walton, the commitment marks a significant point in his recovery from back to back knee injuries which cost him 18 months of action.
As the Denver Post notes, he tore his ACL in an AAU game following his sophomore season, then, after working all the way back, tore the same ACL last season.
Walton didn't give up, though, telling The Post, "...I don't give up easy, I learned that in order to get something you have to work for it"
Walton joins Bryce Peters and DeLeon Brown as Colorado's third commit in the class of 2016. He is averaging 16.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game in his senior season.
Walton picked the Buffs over Denver and Wyoming, both of whom he also had offers from.
