Fiesta Bowl - Stanford vs. TCU - I’m taking the Cardinal for the Pac-12 Championship right now. They get Washington at home to win the North and draw either a rematch with a battered USC team or an Arizona school. They’ll get TCU who slips out of the Playoff.
Cotton Bowl - Washington vs. Penn State - The Huskies drop just one more along the way and make New Year’s bowl against an opponent who misses the Playoff cut with a loss or two.
Alamo Bowl - USC vs. West Virginia - Not where the Trojans wanted to end up, but not horrible given their injuries and the rebuilding on the offensive line.
Holiday Bowl - Arizona State vs. Michigan - Things start to get really dicey here. I think Arizona State is second in the South if they don’t win the South and recovers from their early-season losses for a nice bowl against a huge opponent.
Foster Farms Bowl - Utah vs. Iowa - The Utes may have a tough road ahead of them, but I think they can win enough and have a nice win over Arizona in their back pocket to land in a solid bowl.
Sun Bowl - Arizona vs. Virginia - Things are going to get tougher for the hottest team in the Pac-12, but they will still break through to a bowl no one thought possible going into the season.
Las Vegas Bowl - Washington State vs. Colorado State - Another team that is going to start facing more tough games. The Cougars have a tough October and November left which should knock them down the bowl chain.
Cactus Bowl - Oregon vs. Texas Tech - I think the Ducks win their last two games and get to the last slotted bowl slot over Cal.
Frisco Bowl - Cal vs. SMU - The Bears make a huge improvement and get to a bowl.
