Pacific Takes Top 25 10/29: Washington, USC and Stanford hold strong in Top 25

Only three Pac-12 teams remain in the Top 25

  2. Georgia 8-0
  3. Wisconsin 8-0
  4. Notre Dame 7-1
  5. Clemson 7-1
  6. Oklahoma 7-1
  7. Ohio State 7-1
  8. Penn State 7-1
  9. Miami 7-0
  10. TCU 7-1
  11. Oklahoma State 7-1
  12. Washington 7-1 - The Huskies are doing what they can to stay alive in the Playoff chase. They haven’t proven too much this season, but they clearly have one of the best defenses in the nation, if not the best.
  13. UCF 7-0
  14. Virginia Tech 7-1
  15. Iowa State 6-2
  16. USC 7-2 - The Trojans showed they aren’t falling off a cliff just because Notre Dame slapped them around. They still might be the best team in the Pac-12 by quite a bit.
  17. Stanford 6-2 - The Cardinal will get their shot to maybe be a Playoff contender, or at the very least a Top 5 team when it is all said and down as they enter back-to-back games against the Washington schools with a chance to sew up the Pac-12 North
