Pacific Takes Top 25 11/13: No Pac-12 team in the Top 10

Five Pac-12 teams between #12 and #19.

NCAA Football: Washington at Stanford Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
  1. Alabama 10-0
  2. Miami 9-0
  3. Oklahoma 9-1
  4. Clemson 9-1
  5. Wisconsin 10-0
  6. Georgia 9-1
  7. Auburn 8-1
  8. Penn State 8-2
  9. TCU 8-2
  10. Oklahoma State 8-2
  11. Notre Dame 8-2
  12. USC 9-2 - The Trojans are improving and moving up the ranks, but that blowout loss to Notre Dame is really ugly right now and probably keeps them out of the Playoff conversation.
  13. Ohio State 8-2
  14. UCF 9-0
  15. Washington State 9-2 - The Cougars now control the North and get a week off before another massive Apple Cup. Beating USC and Stanford are major statements in the Pac-12 right now.
  16. Washington 8-2 - The sky isn’t fully falling in Seattle, but losing to Stanford makes it very hard for Washington to even win the North. They really lack the explosion they had on offense and defense last year that pushed them from a Top 15 team into a Top 5 team.
  17. Michigan 8-2
  18. Stanford 7-3 - The Cardinal just refuse to die and play their best when other Pac-12 teams are chasing titles. They have to become Husky fans now if they want to make a nice bounceback and win the North again and get a rematch with USC.
  19. Arizona 7-3 - I don’t think anyone in the Pac-12 other than USC could beat Arizona right now. They could sadly end up in like the Sun Bowl and score 84 on a team like Wake Forest.
  20. South Florida 8-1
  21. Mississippi State 7-3
  22. LSU 7-3
  23. NCState 7-3
  24. Michigan State 7-3
  25. Northwestern 7-3
