Pac-12 bowl projections 11/22: Not many changes after week 12

The bowl pictures coming into shape heading into the last week of the regular season.

NCAA Football: UCLA at Southern California Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Fiesta Bowl - USC vs. Ohio State - The Trojans seem like a heavy favorite to win the conference and be the only team to get into a NY6 bowl for the second-straight season. It’s not the Playoff, but it’s close.

Alamo Bowl - Washington State vs. Iowa State - I’m taking the Cougars in the Apple Cup now but not to beat USC in a rematch. They will get a return trip to Texas for Mike Leach to show what he can do in the program’s biggest bowl game in quite some time.

Holiday Bowl - Stanford vs. Northwestern - The smart schools of the Pac-12 and Big Ten clash in San Diego.

Foster Farms Bowl - Washington vs. Iowa - The Huskies fall far after losses to North division rivals and slide into Santa Clara against a hot and cold Iowa team.

Sun Bowl - Arizona vs. Wake Forest - The Wildcats may have been deflated a bit by Oregon, but this is a hell of a landing spot for them given preseason expectations.

Las Vegas Bowl - Arizona State vs. Boise State - The Sun Devils end an up and down season in Vegas against a ranked Mountain West program.

Cactus Bowl - Oregon vs. Kansas State - It’s not a big bowl for the Ducks, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Armed Forces Bowl - UCLA vs. Army - Will UCLA accept a bowl invite if they beat Cal. I’m not sure, but I’ll give them an at-large for now.

Frisco Bowl - Utah vs. Houston - I think Utah gets past Colorado to earn an at-large bid.
