A rough couple weeks for Washington Huskies basketball fans was made even worse on Saturday, when ex-2017 commit Daejon Davis tweeted he would be committing to Stanford instead.

It’s one thing to lost one of the jewels of your recruiting class to a school far away like Missouri. But to lose another to an in-conference school? That’s rough.
Davis, a native of Seattle, is #44 on ESPN’s Top 100 for 2017. The 6’4 guard will be a phenomenal addition to Jerod Haase’s class which now is full.
Washington, meanwhile, finds itself with four open spots and just one commit (Jaylen Nowell). Mike Hopkins has his work cut out for him.
