The Arizona Wildcats landed its second Las Vegas based recruit of the 2018 class in 3-star wide receiver, Jaden Mitchell.

It was not a surprised that Mitchell announced his commitment to the Wildcats, as he has been leaning toward Arizona ever since he received an offer from it earlier this year.

Mitchell’s talents should fit well within Arizona’s offense. He possesses great speed and elusiveness that deserves opposing defender’s attentions. With that type of speed and elusiveness, Mitchell is able to beat defensive backs off at the line of scrimmage. Mitchell has good hands and concentration to make the tough catches.

The 3-star recruit held offers from Hawaii and UNLV, as well as receiving interest from BYU, Colorado and Colorado State.

The 6-foot receiver tallied 18 receptions for 264 yards and two touchdowns during his junior campaign. He also played some quarterback, in which he totaled 150 passing yards with one score plus 336 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Mitchell is the fourth 2018 recruit to commit to Arizona. He joins quarterback Jamarye Joiner, defensive end Adam Plant and offensive lineman David Watson.
