The Ducks offered Dye last month. After that, it seemed destined to commit to Oregon because his brother Troy Dye had a big freshman season in Eugene last year.
Travis is an elusive running back who possesses great speed. As a junior, Travis ran for 1,878 yards and 15 touchdowns while tallying 29 receptions for 465 yards and six more scores. Travis committed to the Ducks on their Junior Day.
According to Scout, Travis is completely shutting down his recruitment and will not be taking no more visits.
Oregon was the only offer Travis had. However, teams like Texas, Oklahoma and Michigan were interested in the younger Dye’s talents.
