The Colorado Buffaloes keep on charging ahead in recruiting, this time landing a big out-of-state prospect in Daniel Arias. The Bothell (Wa.) Jackson wide receiver becomes Colorado’s first wide receiving commitment in this class.

Arias is a three-star wide receiver according to 247Composite (0.8429), ranked as the 151st best wideout and the 7th best recruit out of the state of Washington. Arias held offers from programs like Boise State, Oregon State, San Diego State, and Utah.

Learn more about what Arias brings to Colorado from the Ralphie Report scouting profile:

Arias is definitely huge. But it’s not like he’s just a possession receiver. He averaged 21.5 yards per catch his junior year, and he can move. He’s surprisingly nimble for a guy his size and his breakaway speed is top-notch, too. His long strides help him separate quickly and his wide catch radius means that most cornerbacks are pretty helpless.
