Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats have landed another five-star recruit, as 2018 five-star point guard Jahvon Quinerly committed to the school on Tuesday evening.
Quinerly announced his commitment during the SC30 Select Showcase game on ESPNU.
The five-star guard from New Jersey was between Villanova and Arizona. He becomes Arizona’s third 2018 commit already, joining Brandon Williams and Shareef O’Neal.
Quinerly is #15 on 247Sports’ Top247 for 2018, and #16 on ESPN’s Top 100.
Quinerly becomes Miller’s 13th five-star commit since taking the job in 2009, which is quite a feat. Per 247Sports, he’s the 11th-best Arizona commit since 2000.
The Wildcats still have one scholarship available for 2018-19, which could grow depending on if players leave for the NBA after this season.
Quinerly’s highlight video can be found below.
