Pacific Takes Top 25 11.12: Utah climbs back into rankings

The Pac-12 has only three teams ranked in mid-November.

  1. Alabama 10-0
  2. Notre Dame 10-0
  3. Clemson 10-0
  4. Michigan 9-1
  5. GeorgiaThe 9-1
  6. Oklahoma 9-1
  7. Ohio State 9-1
  8. Washington State 9-1 - The Cougars seem like an outsider in the CFP race, but honestly every team after the Top 4 has a worse wart than the Cougars who lost at USC by three points back when USC was playing better and healthy. The Cougars just need to keep winning and hope some dominoes fall in their way.
  9. West Virginia 8-1
  10. UCF 9-0
  11. LSU 8-2
  12. Syracuse 8-2
  13. Iowa State 7-3
  14. Florida 7-3
  15. Texas 7-3
  16. Penn State 7-3
  17. Washington 7-3 - The Huskies are laying in wait for the Apple Cup. They have to get by Oregon State (they should), but the Rose Bowl is still on the table in Pullman the last week of the regular season if they do.
  18. Utah 7-3 - The Utes showed they can win a big game with Tyler Huntley AND Zack Moss. They just need to take care of business against Colorado in Boulder and they’ll get their shot at revenge against a Washington school in the P12CG.
  19. Cincinnati 9-1
  20. Utah State 9-1
  21. Kentucky 7-3
  22. NCState 6-3
  23. Boston College 7-3
  24. Virginia 7-3
  25. Mississippi State 6-4
