Pacific Takes Top 25 11.27: Washington emerges as top-ranked Pac-12 team

Huskies climb into Top 10 with Apple Cup win.

NCAA Football: Washington at Washington State James Snook-USA TODAY Sports
  1. Alabama 12-0
  2. Notre Dame 12-0
  3. Clemson 12-0
  4. Ohio State 11-1
  5. Georgia 11-1
  6. UCF 11-0
  7. Oklahoma 11-1
  8. Michigan 10-2
  9. Washington 9-3 - The Huskies were out of the Top 25 just a few weeks ago. Now they’re in the Top 10. They’ve made the most out of things since their loss to Cal and could test the Top 5 if they win their next two.
  10. Washington State 10-2 - The Cougars have a better record than the Huskies, but hard to keep them over Washington given they lost to them at home and didn’t play anyone non-conference. A Fiesta Bowl trip would be huge for the Cougars though and give them a chance to finish in the Top 10.
  11. Florida 9-3
  12. LSU 9-3
  13. Texas 9-3
  14. West Virginia 9-3
  15. Penn State 9-3
  16. Kentucky 9-3
  17. Utah 9-3 - The Utes survived a scare against BYU and got to keep themselves at a solid ranking before the P12CG. The Top 10 is a reality if they can get past the Huskies and into the Rose Bowl.
  18. Syracuse 9-3
  19. NCState 8-3
  20. Mississippi State 8-4
  21. Northwestern 8-4
  22. Iowa State 7-4
  23. Texas A&M 8-4
  24. Missouri 8-4
  25. Cincinnati 10-2
