Pac-12 bowl projections 11.27.18: Huskies work their way to the Rose Bowl

Both Washington schools end up in NY6 bowls.

Rose Bowl - Washington vs. Michigan - The road to Pasadena will be rocky for Washington, but it will end with their first Rose Bowl in almost 20 years. I think Ohio State sneaks into the CFP and drops a less-scary Michigan team into the game.

Fiesta Bowl - Washington State vs. UCF - The Cougars should slip into a NY6 with the lack of 0/1/2-loss teams this season and get a pissed-off UCF team. I know Coug fans are sad about the Apple Cup, but this would be their best bowl since 2002, when they made the Rose Bowl.

Alamo Bowl - Utah vs. Iowa State - This is a great landing spot for the Utes after their mid-season struggles and losing Tyler Huntley and Zack Moss.

Holiday Bowl - Oregon vs. Iowa - The Ducks will be an attractive eight-win bowl draw, getting them down to San Diego. This could be a solid matchup for Justin Herbert’s last college game.

Redbox Bowl - Stanford vs. Wisconsin - I believe The Big Game Saturday is a play-in game for this hometown bowl and I’m giving Stanford the edge.

Sun Bowl - Arizona State vs. Virginia - The Sun Devils played themselves back into the Sun Bowl, a nice landing spot given preseason expectations.

Las Vegas Bowl - Cal vs. Boise State - The Bears make it back to a bowl game and get a possibly ranked opponent and former employer of Justin Wilcox.
