Quality wins: Texas A&M, Alabama, Arizona State, at Utah, Utah, USC, at Arizona State

Remaining games: Stanford, Cal

Great, so the Pac-12’s only lock for the tournament is a disaster off the court with their coach. The Wildcats are talented and experienced, but who knows if this team is steady enough to win a single game in the tournament.

Arizona State 19-9 (7-9)

Seed: 11-play-in

Quality wins: Kansas State, Xavier, at Kansas, at Utah, USC, UCLA

Remaining games: Cal, Stanford

Arizona State keeps fading. Those non-conference wins are big, but hard to picture a team with a non-winning in-conference record in a less-than-respected Pac-12 getting into the tournament this year.

USC 21-9 (12-5)

Seed: 10-11

Quality wins: Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Utah, at Utah

Bad losses: Princeton

Remaining game: UCLA

The Trojans got a great sweat at the mountain schools and put themselves in a good position in my opinion. Beat UCLA at home this week and I think they just need to win a game in the Pac-12 Tournament to get into the NCAA Tournament.

Washington 19-10 (9-7)

Seed: NIT-play-in

Quality wins: at Kansas, Montana, at USC, Arizona State, Arizona

Remaining games: Oregon State, Oregon

The Huskies right on the edge as the last team in or first out. They have to beat the Oregon schools this week and might have to win at least 2-3 games in the Pac-12 Tournament.

UCLA 19-10 (10-7)

Seed: NIT

Quality wins: Kentucky, Washington, Utah, USC, at Arizona

Remaining game: at USC

The Bruins are firmly out for now. A win at USC this weekend might get them back in heading into the Pac-12 Tournament.

Utah 18-10 (10-7)

Seed: NIT

Quality wins: Missouri, Washington, at Arizona State, at Washington, UCLA

Remaining game: Colorado

Getting beat at home by USC may have sank Utah’s at-large hopes. They may now have to win the Pac-12 Tournament to get in.

Oregon 19-10 (9-7)

Seed: NIT

Quality wins: at Arizona State, UCLA, Washington, Arizona State, Arizona

Bad losses: UConn

Remaining games: at Washington State, at Washington

The Ducks are still rolling. They’re still a long shot, but sweep at the Washington schools this week and they will stay alive as an at-large candidate.

Quality wins: Montana, UCLA, USC, at Washington, Arizona State, Washington

Bad losses: Cal, Eastern Washington, Portland State, at Long Beach State

Remaining games: at Arizona, at Arizona State

I think a sweep at the Arizona schools this week keeps Stanford alive. Will that happen? I don’t think so.
