2018-19 Preseason Pac-12 bowl projections: Washington Huskies back in Rose Bowl

Rose Bowl - Washington vs. Ohio State - The Huskies win the Pac-12, but don’t make the Playoff with two losses. The consolation is their third-straight New Year’s-level bowl against an Ohio State team that’s good enough to make the Playoff, but will probably be hampered by controversy.

Alamo Bowl - USC vs. West Virginia - The Trojans get back to Texas, but to not as good of a bowl. However, this is a decent landing spot for the Trojans given this is kind of a rebuilding year.

Holiday Bowl - Stanford vs. Iowa - Bryce Love carries the Cardinal down to San Diego as they continue their new tradition of being pretty good, but not great.

San Francisco Bowl - Utah vs. Northwestern - The Utes will win the South, but fall down the bowl chain because they will have just as many wins as USC and Stanford. This won’t be the best landing spot for them, but a good chance to get another win.

Sun Bowl - Oregon vs. NCState - The Ducks are headed in the right direction with a great chance to grab a win and set up for a huge 2019 if Justin Herbert comes back for his senior season.

Las Vegas Bowl - Arizona vs. Boise State - Khalil Tate gets the Wildcats back to another bowl and things start off pretty smoothly in the first year of Kevin Sumlin in Tucson.

Cactus Bowl - Colorado vs. Iowa State - The Buffs semi surprise and make a bowl. Pretty good for a team trying to climb back up the conference ladder.

Arizona Bowl - Cal vs. UNLV - The Bears scratch and claw to six wins and an at-large bowl bid.
