Pacific Takes Top 25 10/7: Oregon still the top team in the Pac-12

Only three Pac-12 teams remain in the rankings.

  4. Oklahoma 5-0
  5. Georgia 5-0
  6. LSU 5-0

  11. Notre Dame 4-1
  12. Texas 4-1
  13. Oregon 4-1 - The Ducks don’t look like an elite team, but they sure look like the favorite in the Pac-12 right now. Their defense is carrying them and they’ll need teams ahead of them to start losing 1-2 games for them to start climbing the rankings.
  14. Utah 4-1 - The Utes are a lot like the Ducks, a preseason favorite that looks good, but not great. Also, their defense is probably what could carry them to the Pac-12 Championship Game.

  17. Wake Forest 5-0
  18. Michigan 4-1
  19. Iowa 4-1
  20. Memphis 5-0
  21. Cincinnati 4-1
  22. Virginia 4-1
  23. Minnesota 5-0
  24. Arizona State 4-1 - The Sun Devils got a week off and now need to prove that they belong in the Top 25. They get a very winnable game against what should be a very hungry Washington State team on Saturday.
