Pacific Takes bowl projections 11/12: Oregon and Utah still both going to NY6 bowls

The Pac-12 won’t send as many teams to bowls as it once seemed.

Rose Bowl - Oregon vs. Minnesota - Oregon still feels a little more complete and balanced than Utah and their reward for winning the P12CG is the Rose Bowl and just missing out on the CFP.

Cotton Bowl - Utah vs. Cincinnati - The Utes will find a very nice landing spot even if they don’t win the P12CG as long as they don’t lose a game before that.

Alamo Bowl - Washington vs. Texas - The Huskies should win out and rebound just a bit at the end of a bad season, landing in a pretty good non-NY6 bowl.

Holiday Bowl - USC vs. Iowa - The Trojans showed against Arizona State that they’re not going to fold and they might only need one slip up from Utah to play for the Rose Bowl.

Redbox Bowl - Arizona State vs. Indiana - The Sun Devils have a huge opportunity to improve their season if they can upset Oregon in Tempe in a couple of weeks. They won’t, but they’ll still make it to a decent bowl.

Sun Bowl - Washington State vs. Virginia - I’m banking on the Cougars beating Stanford and Oregon State in Pullman. I don’t feel great about it.
