Pacific Takes Top 25 12/2: Utah moves up to number five

The Utes climb into the Top 5.

  5. Utah 11-1 - Don’t worry Ute fans. As long as LSU beats Georgia and Utah beats Oregon, I slide Utah up to the fourth spot. If Georgia wins and Ohio State and Clemson win, ugh, I’m not sure.

  8. Florida 10-2
  9. Auburn 9-3
  10. Alabama 10-2
  11. Wisconsin 10-2
  12. Penn State 10-2
  13. Oregon 10-2 - Getting to 10 wins was huge for the Ducks. They’ll climb towards the Top 5 if they can beat Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game and win the Rose Bowl.

  23. USC 8-4 - The Trojans closed strong after a rocky start and a tough game against Oregon. They’re setting up strong for next year no matter who the coach is as long as they don’t have a mass exodus via the NFL Draft and transfers.
