Pac-12 2019 NCAA Tournament stock watch 2/25: Arizona State surviving on the bubble

Checking on the NCAA Tournament stock of Pac-12 teams.

NCAA Basketball: California at Arizona State Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

In

Washington 22.5 (13-1)

Seed: 5-6

The Huskies remain the only Pac-12 team that should be in the tournament without winning the Pac-12 Tournament. I think they will end up a 4 or 5 if they win the regular season and Pac-12 Tournament.

Toughest remaining game: Oregon State 3/6

On The Bubble

Arizona State 19-8 (10-5)

Seed: 11-NIT

The Sun Devils are doing what they can to stay in the tournament, but it’s not going to be easy. They close with three road games against NIT teams. They may have to hope to win the Pac-12 Tournament or hope the committee really respects their wins over Kansas, Mississippi State, and Washington.

Toughest remaining game: at Oregon State 3/3

Hanging By A Thread

Oregon State 17-9 (9-5)

Seed: NIT

The Beavers might have fallen off the bubble losing at UCLA, but they can close strong, hosting the Arizona schools and going at the Washington schools. Win those games and they will back on the bubble going into the Pac-12 Tournament.

Toughest remaining game: at Washington 3/6

Oregon 15-12 (6-8)

Seed: NIT

The Ducks might be a stretch even here at this point after losing three-straight. I like their chances to get on the bubble though if they can win their next four.

Toughest remaining game: at Washington 3/9
