- Clemson 5-0
- Alabama 5-0
- Ohio State 5-0
- Oklahoma 4-0
- Georgia 4-0
- LSU 4-0
- Auburn 5-0
- Wisconsin 4-0
- Florida 5-0
- Notre Dame 3-1
- Texas 3-1
- Oregon 3-1 - The Ducks got a bye week to heal up a little bit and now they get a game against Cal that looks a lot more winnable with Chase Garbers likely out and the Bears proving mortal against Arizona State. Again, the Ducks still look like the most-complete team in the Pac-12.
- Washington 4-1 - Don’t forget about the Huskies though. They’re young defense is coming of age quickly and they’ve bounced back well from their strange loss to Cal, blowing out what looks like a strong Hawaii team, a BYU team that beat USC, and beating USC by 14.
- Iowa 4-0
- Penn State 4-0
- Utah 4-1 - USC showed that they can take care of an air raid, pushing around Washington State in Salt Lake City. They showed that they’re right there waiting if USC slips up in the South and, like Oregon, they’re a balanced, veteran squad that is one of the most-complete teams in the nation when they’re rolling.
- Boise State 4-0
- Baylor 4-0
- Wake Forest 5-0
- Oklahoma State 4-1
- Michigan 3-1
- UCF 4-1
- Cal 4-1 - Cal took a hard shot losing to Arizona State and that win at Washington is going to look more flukey as the season goes on. They’ll have to score another big road upset at Oregon Saturday to stay ranked.
- Colorado 3-1 - Don’t sleep on the Buffs. Their win at Arizona State looks great now and they have really nice pieces of talent to help them trade punches in the South throughout the season.
- Arizona State 4-1 - The Sun Devils seem like a team that can beat anyone in the Pac-12 each week, but could also lose to each team in the Pac-12 each week. They deserve to be ranked thus far with big road wins at Michigan State and Cal.
