We’re scaling up our recap from the previous weekend of action and taking a look at some of the most valuable players from each team’s performance. It was a bleak week for non-conference scheduled opponents dominating the headlines.
With the majority of teams taking part of their last non-conference game, we take a quick look at the action with some advanced statistics into our game of the week between USC and Boston College.
Boston College 29, USC 22
Kedon Slovis and Co. couldn’t quite muster enough in the rain to topple Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and they fell on a game-winning touchdown by QB Anthony Brown with just :12 seconds remaining. It was a heartbreaker for the Trojans as they hung in there despite terrible conditions and their defense played extremely well.
