The conference has returned to voluntary activities across the landscape, or at least for the time being. While UCLA and Cal seem set to do battle with Under Armour dropping their brand agreements, the rest of the conference is launching staged returns of voluntary athletic activities for their student-athletes.
The recruiting trail has also heated up and the Oregon Ducks are a mere few points away from taking the top class in the Pac-12 away from USC. Still, with all of this happening, the return to athletic activities has dominated the headlines.
Just as the return of high numbers of cases of coronavirus throughout those states that reopened their doors these past few weeks.
Oh, and also in big conference news, we documented it here, the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers have agreed to rename their rivalry, formerly known as ‘The Civil War’ and will now be known as something else. The renaming process is still underway.

So with all of this in mind — let’s take a look at all the happenings around the Pac-12 as the teams deal with the return of voluntary athletic activities among other things.
