The Pac-12 is long known for fielding great wide receiving talent. But a lot of top wideouts graduated in previous seasons, so there’s not much depth at the position this season.
There are five Pac-12 talents that made the Biletnikoff presason watch list. Interestingly, it’s a team you wouldn’t expect that’s fielding two elite offensive talents.
- Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Shay Fields.
- Colorado wide receiver Devin Ross. Colorado is full of solid experience at multiple positions, but they are potentially the deepest at wideout.
- Washington State Cougars wide receiver Tavares Martin, Jr. Martin figures to be the latest talent to flourish as the top Air Raid talent for Wazzu.
- Washington Huskies wideout Dante Pettis. This could be quite the productive season for Pettis.
- California Golden Bears wide receiver Demetris Robertson. Robertson is an up-and-coming spectacular talent who could explode offensively at Cal.
Here are the recent winners of the Biletnikoff from the Pac-12.
- Brandin Cooks, Oregon State Beavers, 2013
- Marqise Lee, USC Trojans, 2012
- Mike Hass, Oregon State Beavers, 2005
- Troy Walters, Stanford Cardinal, 1999.
