Here are the Pac-12 games on tap for this Saturday. The biggest matchup comes early in the morning high in the mountains.
Arizona Wildcats at Utah Utes, 11 a.m. Pacific, ESPN: The Arizona Wildcats have to be super disappointed after dropping another road game, as they no longer control their Pac-12 title destiny. They must now hope for an Oregon loss, just like what Utah is hoping for. Utah has lost at home once all season, and the Utes are riding high on a five game winning streak and significant dominance in all categories. Utah has the elite offense that will go toe-to-toe with Arizona, and Jakob Poeltl has become the focal point of perhaps the best group in the conference. The Wildcats will have their hands full trying to contain him.
Unless Oregon collapses, the loser is probably out of the Pac-12 title race.
UCLA Bruins at Stanford Cardinal, 1:30 p.m. Pacific, FOX: This game really means nothing to either team. UCLA and Stanford have no shot at making March Madness barring winning the Pac-12 tourney. The best either team can hope for is to position for tournament seeding and try to avoid falling too far down into the hole.
