College basketball top 25 rankings: Arizona, Oregon, UCLA reside in top 7

Who is in the Pac-12 top 25?

NCAA Basketball: Oregon at UCLA Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

5. Arizona Wildcats. Arizona returned to the top of the Pac-12, although they didn’t have exactly the most convincing wins this week against Cal and Stanford. They have two gimmee wins up in Washington this week before a huge battle looms with USC and UCLA.

6. UCLA Bruins. The Bruins got a huge victory against Oregon to even the series and ease their bleeding in conference play. If they can beat Arizona in Tucson, the path to the Pac-12 title is right there for them.

7. Oregon Ducks. Oregon slipped up with a crucial defeat against UCLA, which could really set back their Pac-12 title chances. Good news: Only two of their final five games are against tournament-caliber teams, and those two sit on the bubble.

Receiving votes: USC Trojans. USC is obviously the weakest of all the squads in terms of tournament resume, particularly in Pac-12 play. But a few wins to close the season is all they need for the Dance.
