According to Bracket Matrix, the Pac-12 is most likely sending five teams to the Dance, and definitely no more than that. Utah worked its way off the bubble with a disastrous loss to Oregon State, and they can only find their way back by winning out (including the Pac-12 tournament).
Let’s take a look at each team and their seeding according to Bracket Matrix.
Oregon Ducks, 2 seed: The Oregon Ducks have smashed teams at home and are working their way to the cusp of a 1 seed.
Arizona Wildcats, 2 seed: Arizona is holding steady. Oregon and Arizona seem to be fighting for that West bid and not have to worry about ever leaving the West Coast this March.
UCLA Bruins, 4 seed: UCLA seems to be headed the right way for a 3 seed, and might have a chance to sneak in as a potential West Coast sleeper.
USC Trojans, 9 seed: USC got demolished by UCLA and are likely to get demolished by Arizona, but win two of their next three after that and they’re safely in.
California Golden Bears, 10 seed: Cal’s last two losses to Stanford and Arizona have them working their way back onto the bubble, and not in a good way.
