Oregon State and Arizona are generally not the teams you expect to land the high-quality names coming out of high school. So in general you're more likely to find them taking the best names that no one else wants. One possibility could be dual threat quarterback Khari McGee.
McGee is a Fresno quarterback out of Edision. He's ranked a top-25 dual threat QB by Rivals and 247 Sports, a top-30 dual threat QB by ESPN, and is generally considered a top 100 recruit out of California. McGee currently only enjoys four offers from Arizona, Eastern Washington, Florida Atlantic and Oregon State, so it appears he'll be taking his time to make his decision.
McGee said long ago that Oregon State really stood out to him, and with only a few offers on the table the Beavers probably have to be near the top. With Luke Del Rio headed to Alabama as a walk-on, Oregon State will probably be doing their best to get McGee as their quarterback. McGee took his official visit to the Beavers this weekend.
The only thing McGee is sure of is that he wants to stay a quarterback. I imagine Oregon State shares his sentiment. Expect Arizona to try and get into the picture when they visit him next month.
